Message from our CEO
Dear Acesense Reader
Customer Focused. Employee Powered
Our corporate identity summed up in four little words. Some years ago as our marketing team were putting together a new corporate identity we held a competition to come up with a new “slogan” covering all territories, and every employee was asked to enter by providing a list of taglines which they thought best represented the business.
Initially we hadn’t expected many entrants and our head of development, James Armstrong, was set the task to select the best entry, however, when his mailbox crashed we knew we had a problem. As the days went by our team, now made up of three, came up with a final selection of fifty slogans out of a possible 370,578!
Each of the selected taglines was mailed back to all of our people and a voting system was setup through email. There were over 79,542 votes cast, the top three shared 19% of the total vote.
The final slogan from the three was selected by a show of hands around the board table.
Lessons to Learn From
This experiment in creativity, communication and employee interaction, led me to understand the core essence of Acesense much more then the slogan. What had been demonstrated was an experience-based creative approach that optimised choice, followed by a miscalculated forecast which backed by our commitment was followed through and corrected, finally a technology driven conclusion delivering a simple and fast result saving time, money and above all ensuring everyone’s opinion was considered.
To me there is no better example of the way we work.
At Acesense we have some of the world’s most innovative minds and it is that which keeps our clients and their businesses ahead of their industries.
Our people are faced with some of the most dauntingly difficult projects, yet working through each complexity there is a sense of accomplishment and a warm feeling of pride. I would like to thank each and every member of the Acesense global family, for all that they continue to do and achieve for our clients.
